SPRING VALLEY, NY – After an emotional week for the Spring Valley community, the boys high school basketball team played rival Ramapo. The game would come down to the last seconds with Jakhai Parrinello scoring the game winning points leading Spring Valley HS to the 56 – 55 win over Ramapo.

The game comes just days after the passing of beloved soccer coach and school security guard Venel Edouard, who tragically lost his life in a house fire in Hillcrest. The outpouring of emotion can be seen by the reaction from the fans and the players.

Although rivals, you can see Ramapo players embrace the Spring Valley post game.

Albertus Magnus High School Girls Basketball are Section 1 Class AA Champions

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY – The top-seeded Albertus Magnus Falcons defeated second-seeded Ursuline high school to take the Section 1 Class AA title, 57-50, on Saturday night.

 

Albertus Magnus’ Allie Falesto was named MVP of the Section 1 Class AA tournament and had a game high 20 points in the championship game.

Suffern High School Section 1 Hockey Champions

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY – Suffern HS Senior Captain Charlie Windwer, one of the best high school players in New York, scored two goals to lead the Mounties to a 4 – 0 victory over Clarkstown (combination of North & South HS) 4 – 0.
