Rockland Assemblyman Lawler Introduces Legislation to change the new bridges name back to the Tappan Zee.

“Especially now, in light of the allegations of sexual harassment and appalling conduct of the Governor who bears the same last name, it’s clear that we must restore the bridge’s original, historical name.” said Assemblyman Mike Lawler.

A petition on change.org to change the name launched back in 2017 by a Westchester man now has over 150,000 signatures. Link below.
