Orangetown Supervisor Chris Day, joined by his wife Jen and his mother Jean, announces he won’t seek re-election.
In an emotional press conference, Day explained the on-going rift with his father (County Exec. Ed Day) and Republican County Chairman Lawrence Garvey. He also explained some of his accomplishments as Supervisor, and the future of the Town of Orangetown.
He plans to return to the private sector and spend more time with his family.
