NEW CITY, NY – A temporary memorial in honor of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was erected on the steps of the Rockland County Courthouse in New City, New York.

The memorial was organized by Steve Gold. In the two day period it was up, hundreds of Rockland residents stopped by to pay their respects. Justice Ginsburg was well respected by Democrats and Republicans alike.

Ginsburg passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 from complications due to metastatic pancreases cancer. She was 87.
