Flag Day 2021 – In the United States, Flag Day is celebrated on June 14. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777 by resolution of the Second Continental Congress.
Did you know the world’s largest free flying American flag is located at the George Washington Bridge? The flag is 60′ wide by 90′ long. The blue field on the flag is 35′ wide by 40′ long. Each stripe is 5′ wide and the stars are are approximately 4′ in diameter.
Over 500 Turkeys Distributed to Families in the Village of Spring Valley for Thanksgiving Day.

Assemblyman Lawler and Sheriff Falco presented 2-year old Jhanaè Fairclough and her parents Kirk and Jodi Ann with the proceeds raised from the recent Meatball Contest hosted by the Blauvelt Sons of Italy. Assemblyman Lawler won the contest defeating Sheriff Falco for best meatballs.
The $7,000 will help the family cover some of Jhanaè’s medical expenses.
